Orange County-based Brew Ha Ha Productions will spread some holiday cheer with beer at its 6th Annual Brew Ho Ho! Holiday Ale Fest at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim on Saturday, Dec. 9.
Breweries throughout Southern California and beyond will have more than 100 beers for tasting and food options include MeatUp BBQ, Chef TLC Truck, Viking Truck, Slater’s 50/50 and more.
Among the other activities are live music from ska and new wave-pop band the English Beat, backyard games like giant Jenga and Corn Hole, a cigar lounge, and a special visit and photo opp with Santa Claus.
Shopping for a beer lover? The vendor area will feature craft brewery swag including hats, hoodies, glassware, shirts and more.
Festive holiday attire is strongly encouraged and will be rewarded via a series of contests. While you’re out mixing, mingling, drinking and being merry, check out some of the holiday and seasonal beers being offered or revealed exclusively at Brew Ho Ho!
Redlands-based brewery Hangar 24 will have its Sierra Ground Coffee Milk Stout served on nitro for a smooth finish and The Bruery, which is based in Placentia, will serve up its Belgian-style dark ale, 10 Lords-A-Leaping. Offshoot Beer Co. (which has small batch tastings that can be found at the Bruery), will have its Hop Luck West Coast IPA while Anaheim-based Bottle Logic Brewing will be bringing something a little heftier with its Darkstar November bourbon barrel aged-stout.
Docent Brewing out of San Juan Capistrano will serve its Uncle Bert Scotch Ale on nitro and Brew Ho Ho fan-favorite, San Clemente’s Artifex Brewing Company, will bust out its Holi-Dave, an American-style Bourbon barrel aged stout.
Proceeds from the Brew Ho Ho! Holiday Ale Fest will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and Inland Empire. The event is for those 21-and-over only and tickets include unlimited 2 oz. tastings and a holiday souvenir tasting glass.
