“It’s great to be recognized by the BA for the production growth we have been experiencing,” Pacific Plate Brewing Co. owner and brewmaster Stephen Kooshian said in a release. “Our cans have made it into some great stores in L.A. and Orange County and we’re just getting started. We couldn’t have done it without all the people who support us and believe in us.”

The company, noted for its horchata stout, mango IPA, guava IPA and Tom Yum Beer, opened in Monrovia in 2013 and remains the only independent brewing company in the city. In 2017 it opened a location in Glendale. Both sites are kid and dog friendly.
