During the event, band members Matt Ochoa, Dustin “Duddy B” Bushnell, Jon Olazabal, David Foral and Jared “Dirty J” Watson mingled with fans, posed for photos and signed autographs on some of the exclusive merchandise featuring the Vacation pineapple session ale logo, which was designed by Foral.

The Four Sons – Deven, Dustin, Derek and Drew Dufresne – made sure the fans were getting their pours of Vacation, as well as other Four Sons Brewing beers, while their mother, Daune, ran the merch booth and their father, Duke, manned the door.
Though the event had a limited capacity, the Dufresnes said there were thousands that had tried to score wristbands into the brewery. Those lucky enough to enter were treated to an outdoor Dirty Heads hometown set that included hits like “Vacation,” “Lay Me Down,” “My Sweet Summer” and even some older songs like “Believe.”
“This is a really casual show in the best way,” one fan said as he made his way through the crowd to get closer to the band.
It was a casual show with patrons playing bean bag toss and grabbing grub from the two food trucks that were on-site in between slugging cold cups of beer. The band, which just put out the single and fan-generated music video for the song “Visions” earlier this month, also recently announced a fall tour with Jukebox the Ghost and Just Loud that kicks off on Sept. 20 in Santa Cruz.
This particular run doesn’t include any local dates since the band recently headlined FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine back on June 30. However, Dirty Heads is part of the Alt 94.9/FM Indie Jam line-up on Sept. 8 at Oceanside Pier Amphitheater alongside Bishop Briggs, lovelytheband, Superoganim, and Two Feet.
